
In 2018, U.S. cross-border exports of distribution services totaled $51.4 billion, while imports totaled $66.2 billion, yielding a trade deficit of $14.8 billion. Exports increased by 7.2 percent from 2017, while imports increased by 5.2 percent. The EU, China, and Japan were the largest markets for U.S. cross-border exports of distribution services.
