Exports increased by 1.0 percent from 2017, while imports increased by 20.6 percent. Travel services accounted for the largest share of U.S. cross-border exports of services to China (61.7 percent), and charges for the use of intellectual property accounted for the second-largest share (11.2 percent). Travel services also accounted for the largest share of U.S. cross-border imports of services from China (32.9 percent), while professional services accounted for the second-largest share (32.5 percent).
