The USITC postpones votes on investigations into Lithium Hexafluorophosphate from China

The United States Department of Commerce has announced its decision to extend the time for its determination under section 702(c)(1)(A) or 732(c)(1)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930 (Act), 19 U.S.C. 1671a(c)(1)(A) or 1673a(c)(1)(A), with respect to the petitions filed on March 5, 2026, requesting the initiation of antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of Lithium Hexafluorophosphate from China. Sections 703(a)(2)(A) and 703(a)(2)(A) of the Act, 19 U.S.C. 1671b(a)(2)(A) and 1673b(a)(2)(A), provide that in the event of such an extension, the U.S. International Trade Commission (Commission) shall make its preliminary determination within 25 days after the date on which it receives notice from Commerce of the initiation of an investigation. The Commission has accordingly decided to postpone its vote and will issue a revised schedule in the Federal Register.
