3.1.0 Updates

Summary: Release 3.1 of EDIS 3 is an enhancement release which includes the following new features:

  • New Feature
    Added option to select a preference for including one of nine different index control numbers (e.g., Order number, Motion number or APO number) in the results of a search.
  • New Feature
    Added the Case Manager Dashboard to the Investigation Management function which will assist Docket Services staff in managing their two-phase review process.
  • New Feature
    Added the capability to specify the Order number when submitting a document of type "ID/RD - Other than Final on Violation".
  • Bug Fix
    Corrected issue with selecting the date range for a document search.

Summary: Release 3.0.1 of EDIS 3 release is a maintenance release of the application which fixes various bugs identified in the system upon initial deployment. Some of the highlights include:

  • Bug Fix
    Corrected calculation of final page count on Document Filing Report.
  • Bug Fix
    Corrected problem locking external user accounts after 3 unsuccessful login attempts.
  • User Experience Enhancement
    Disabled use of OSE Alert checkbox and modified wording of checkbox to indicate parties have been served.
  • Bug Fix
    Corrected text on the EDIS E-File Documents page to state that the maximum file size is 50 MB
  • Bug Fix
    Fixed functionality of the Print Page button on the Search Results page.
  • New Feature
    Added the filed by/firm combo, document title, and 'on behalf of' data to the Administrative Record Report.

Summary: This EDIS 3 release is the initial release of the application which provides an entire replacement for the previous EDIS II system. EDIS 3 provides an entirely new hardware and software architecture design to improve performance, reliability and security while providing all necessary functionality. Major features and enhancements included in this release include:

    Alignment of document management function with adoption of case management system by USITC Dockets Services.
  • User Experience Enhancement
    Performance of PDF check immediately upon document upload.
  • Deprication
    Removal of capability for external users to submit Confidential questionnaires in MS Word format.
  • New Feature
    Capability for external users to receive RSS feed notifications upon document approval.
  • New Feature
    Capability for internal users to receive RSS feed notifications upon either document submission or document approval.

    Addition of Forgot Password capability for users to reset password without call in.
