As a result of the Commission's affirmative determinations, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue to conduct its antidumping investigations of imports of 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1- diphosphonic acid (HEDP) from China and India, with its preliminary determinations due on or about August 26, 2008.
The Commission's public report 1-Hydroxyethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid (HEDP) from China and India (Investigation Nos. 731-TA-1146-1147 (Preliminary), USITC Publication 3998, May 2008) will contain the views of the Commission and information developed during the investigations.

The CAS (Chemical Abstract Service) registry number for HEDP is 2809-21-4.
