Person Writing

Starting August 1, 2024, Commissioner votes will take place by notational voting. Notational voting is a process whereby the Commissioners receive written materials and provide their votes in writing. Commissioner votes will no longer be in-person.

This will affect the following Commission votes: Adequacy Determinations (currently notational), Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Investigations (AD/CVD), AD/CVD Five-Year (Sunset) Reviews, and Global Safeguards.

Results of the vote will be posted in a bulletin at 11:30 am (day of the vote) on the Commission home page under “Latest Information.”

The bulletin will be replaced by the news release approximately three hours after a Commission vote.

Pursuant to the statute (19USC sec.1331) the Chair has responsibility for procedural matters, including with respect to voting procedures.

Other sources for information regarding the investigation, including vote results, are available on the Commission’s Investigations Database System (IDS) and Electronic Document Information System (EDIS).
