Summary

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has released a public version of its report on the likely impact of the removal of HTS subheading 9404.30.80 (non-down sleeping bags) from duty-free status for imports from all countries eligible for the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences (GSP).

Advice Concerning Possible Modifications to the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences, 2010 Special Review, Certain Sleeping Bags, was requested by the U.S. Trade Representative. The USITC’s confidential report was submitted to the USTR on April 8, 2010.
