Report Description/Introductory Text: This report contains the advice of the United States International Trade Commission (Commission) to the President regarding the probable economic effect of certain proposed additions to, or removals from, the list of eligible articles under the provisions of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) on the U.S. industries producing like or directly competitive articles and on U.S. consumers. The articles and their Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) subheadings for the proposed additions are: adipic acid, 2917.12.10; certain plywood veneered panels, 4412.39.5030; certain unwrought aluminum in coils, 7601.10.30 and 7601.20.30; hollow profiles, of aluminum alloys, 7604.21.00; and manganese metal powder, 8111.00.4910. The articles and their HTS subheadings for the proposed removals are: from India, certain other organo-inorganic compounds, 2931.00.90; and from Brazil, PET film, 3920.62.00.
