Policies in India Affecting U.S. Businesses

The U.S. International Trade Commissionís (Commission) report, Trade, Investment, and Industrial Policies in India: Effects on the U.S. Economy (Inv. No. 332-543) was requested by the House Ways and Means and Senate Finance Committees (Committees) on August 2, 2013. The Committees have requested that the Commission transmit its report by December 15, 2014. In their letter, the Committees asked the Commission conduct a survey of U.S. firms to better understand the impact of policies in India that discriminate against U.S. exports and investment.

Confidentiality

The Commission has designated as "confidential business information" the information you provide in response to this questionnaire, to the extent that such information would reveal the operations of your organization and is not otherwise available to the public. The Commission will not disclose such confidential business information except as provided for in section 7 of the questionnaire. Information received in response to this questionnaire will be aggregated with information from other questionnaire responses and will not be published in a manner that would reveal the operations of your organization.
