 COMMISSION PRODUCTS

The USITC Office of Economics Africa Research Program covers the 48 countries of Sub-Saharan Africa. The Africa Research Program aims to provide our primary clients (USTR and Congress) with research, analysis, and data that will inform the United States' ongoing and increasing engagement with the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa, especially as it relates to the African Growth and Opportunity Act. As part of this mission, staff publishes an annual report that covers U.S. Trade and Investment with Sub-Saharan Africa. Staff also aims to provide clients and the public with research covering emerging issues of importance to U.S.-Sub- Saharan African relations.
